Is it the end or only the beginning?
Mt favorite exercises were creating a video in Animoto, creating a mind map and flowchart and creating a binder in LiveBinder. The exercises I did in my blogs will help me and a teacher to use technology in the classroom so students can be more interactive and it will making learning more fun and will help the students learn better. In these exercises, I learned different resources that I can use as a teacher that I did not know of before. I enjoyed learning how to use these tools and how I can use them in education. I plan to maintain my blog by posting a link to it in my email and saving the link so I will always have access to it. I plan to use my blog as a teacher to post important information for students and provide extra practice for students that may need extra help. I plan to use all of the tools I used in my blog in education to make me a more effective teacher. I had a great experience in web 2.0 and I learned how to use many different tools in education and it will change how I use technology in my future classroom.
Thing #23 Creative Commons
The Learning 2.0-23 Things for Teachers blog has the creative commons license. Under this license, it contains attribution which is that you may attribute the work in the way the author specifies, noncommercial which is that you may not use this work for commercial reasons, and share alike which is that you may change or modify the work. I will use creative commons as a teacher to see what websites and documents I am able to use in the classroom and what rights I have specified from the author of the work. If I create a document or work, I will use creative commons to allow other teachers and students to use my work in their classroom to help them use as a resource for learning. I will use it to know what resources I am able to use in the classroom and what rights I have in using these resources. I will use creative commons to use resources licensed under this to help my students in learning material in the classroom and to teach more efficiently.
Thing #22 LiveBinder
The titles of my binders are 6th grade short stories, 6th grade language arts lesson and 6th grade writing and grammar. Here is the link to my binder 6th grade short stories:
http://www.livebinders.com/play/play?id=677529
I might use LiveBinders in the classroom to create lessons that I can use in my classroom. I might use it to put together short stories for the students to read in class and I can keep them all together and organized in one place. I can use it to put in different assignments and keep them organized and together so students will be less likely to lose them because they will all be organized in one place. I used my binder 6th grade short stories to put different stories together that 6th grade students can read in the classroom. I was able to search for different stories online and add them into my binder and keep them in one place and not have to search for them and keep them organized. LiveBinders makes it easy to organize lessons and keep everything in one place and not have to pull up different web pages or take up class time to search for them. It also saves time because students will have everything they need in one place and not have to go searching for each thing in the lesson and can spend more time on the lesson instead of trying to find everything they need.

Thing #21 Animoto
I created a video on a lesson in a language arts class. Here is the link to my video:
http://animoto.com/play/T5SnB7eeRxrp9JquCZimpA
I found animoto easy to use and very useful. I liked how you could upload any photos from flickr or any other photo site and upload it to create a video. I also liked that you could add music to the video to make it more interesting. I think it can be useful to use in a classroom to create a video on a lesson that will make it fun and more interesting for the students and they can upload it anywhere if they want to watch it again. I think it is very easy to use and can be very useful in education.
Thing #20 YouTube
What I liked about YouTube is that it has lots of videos to choose from and you can search for any video you want to find. I liked that you could save a video when you create an account and watch it later and you can add videos to your favorites so you don't have to search for them again. I can see this features being used if they were applied to my library website to find videos that I can save and go back to later. I could use YouTube for my library website to find videos of books or research tools that I could save to my account and upload them into the library website for other people to view. I could also create a video and add it to YouTube and save it to my account and then upload it to my website for other people to view.
I found the video "Top 10 Reasons to Use Technology In Education: iPad, Tablet, Computer, Listening Centers" Here is the link to the video:

Thing #19 TeacherPop
I am a member of the flickr online community. Tasty Kitchen, GoodReads and Crafts are appealing to me because I enjoy food, reading and doing crafts. What I found that was interesting what in TeacherPop you can join any group and post anything and comment on any member of your group's post. It was interesting that you could communicate with other members of education and get ideas from them and stay up-to-date with news and changes in education. I also thought it was interesting that you could create a badge for being the member of a group and share it with anyone. It was interesting that it was similar to social networking sites except it's more professional and safer since it is just for education. I created a badge in Teacher Pop. Here is the link:

Thing #18 Social Networking
Here's the link to my facebook profile:
It is important that educators know how social networking sites work so they can communicate with other teachers, parents, and students and to keep up with the news in education to know how education is changing. The new insights I gained about these popular sites is that you can add educational resources such as news in education and ideas for lesson plans that I can use to keep track with changes in education and get ideas for lesson plans I can use. What I liked about the sites is that you can add any education resource or members of education such as other teachers and faculty and communicate with them and keep in contact with them. The site that had the most useful features was facebook because you can search for anyone or anything in education and find what you are looking for and add them and then be able to stay in contact with them. I can see a classroom application with these sites by students can communicate with their teacher and ask any questions they have on the material they are learning or homework problems they need help with. I can also see it a way for teachers to post reminders of important dates or assignments due. It can also be a way for teachers to post extra problems the students can practice on the material they are learning. It can also be used for teachers to communicate with parents on their students' progress in the class so they can provide extra help for them if needed and can stay up-to-date with their progress. It is a great way for teachers to communicate with students, parents, and other teachers.
Thing #17 Delicious
I think the delicious tool is very useful. I found many different educational resources for technology in education that were very useful. I can see this as a tool in the classroom to find helpful resources I could use in my classroom to teach a certain lesson. I could also use it to get ideas for lessons plans that I could use. I could use it to find videos I could have students watch in class on a particular subject they are learning to help them better understand the material. Then I could bookmark it so I can easily find it again without having to take time in class to search for it and will always have it stored. Teachers can take advantage of social bookmarking sites by they can find websites, videos, or resources they can use in the classroom to teach the material they are teaching their students and bookmark it so they can easily find it and not have to take up time in class to search for it. They can use it to store educational websites, videos, pictures, etc. that they can use in the classroom so they will always have them and will not have to try to search for them again and take up extra time.

Thing #16 Getting Organized
I chose the stickeynotes.net startup page. I appealed to this one because I like using stickey notes to stay organized and write down important things that I need to remember. The online calenders can be useful to me to put important dates in so I can keep up with all the important dates coming up and keep it organized. The do-lists are helpful to make a list of things that I need to do so I will not forget anything and to keep track of what I need to do. The stickey notes tool has some uses for me at school and at home. I can use it to write down important things I need to remember to do or important dates so I can keep track of everything and keep everything organized for my classes so I won't forget an assignment or important dates. I can also use it at home to create a list of things I need to do or important events coming up so I won't lose track of everything and can keep it organized.
Thing #15 Wiki
I changed the font size and color of the text in the teacherlibrian wiki. It found that was very easy to use. A wiki can be beneficial in the classroom by it could be used to add more information to an article or examples of the text to help the students learn more about the material being taught. It can be used to change the font size and color of the text so the students can see the text better so they can read it better and understand what it is saying. It can also be used to add pictures to the text so show students examples of the material so the students can better understand it. It can be very useful in the classroom to teach the material more efficiently.

Thing #14 Flowcharts and Mind maps
I used bubble.us to create a mind map. I used the button beneath the first square shape that appeared that said to add another child bubble to create a bubble under the first one to show points that were different. Then I used the other button that said to add another sibling bubble to create a bubble beside another one to show points that were similar. Then I just clicked on the bubble and starting typing what I wanted to put in each bubble. I also moved the cursor inside each bubble and clicked the connect button to connect two bubbles together. The mind map has bubbles under and beside each other that connect together.
I used gliffy to crate a flow chart. First I selected the flowchart button on the side to create a flowchart and then selected the type of flowchart I wanted to create. Then I used the different shapes provided on the side to create my flowchart. Then I clicked inside each shape and typed in what I wanted in each shape. I used the arrow shape and dragged it to where I wanted to connect certain shapes together. I also drew shapes beside each other to show points that were went together or were similar and shapes under each other to show points that did not go together or were different. The flow chart uses arrows instead of lines to connect points together and uses different shapes instead of just bubble shapes.
Thing #13 Web-Based Applications
I found may features with Zoho Docs. It allows you to upload any type of documents, pictures or videos from anywhere or create a new one. I also found that when you create a new word document, you can use resources such as a thesaurus, spell check and word count. You can also use different fonts and size of the font. You can also reset the document so if you want to completely delete the document without having to open a new document. You can also rename your document that you saved if you want to change the name of it. When you create a spreadsheet, you can insert formulas into it to calculate whatever you want to. It also allows you to sort the information in the spreadsheet in a certain order that you want so you don't have to move everything around.
I went to google docs and created a drawing of a venn diagram of the parts of the speech. Here's a link to my drawing:
Google docs allowed me to create a drawing, spreadsheet, presentation or document. Zoho Docs allowed me to create or upload documents, spreadsheets, videos or pictures. They were both easy to use and had many useful features. They would be very useful in a classroom to create documents, spreadsheets, videos, pictures, or drawings to teach the material in a different way.
